Ah - so the mod is reversible if you do it this way.h8cak wrote:Took 3 mins in total. Just poped the plastic flow thingy out and the mesh fell out:)
Then there's no reason not to try it if you have the time...

As I understood Stephen Hawking, time may be reversible under certain circumstances...Doc?

Something to do with the faster you go the younger you get.CliveH wrote:As I understood Stephen Hawking, time may be reversible under certain circumstances...Doc?
I try that every time I drive, still the grey hairs are appearing??
A comment from a local copper "attempting some time travel were we sir?"
Had a spare MAF sitting around so tried it and bingo plastic grill pops out and mesh falls out less than 30 secs, but will it makle any difference when i get VAG-Com working i will run some comparisons.Dr-Al wrote:Ah - so the mod is reversible if you do it this way.h8cak wrote:Took 3 mins in total. I use the same line with my wife every time she says "Why do you have to drive so fast - we're not in a hurry"
She doesn't believe me

Right, i have been out to "tinker" this arvo and wanted to ask how you get the plastic flow mesh out without damaging/splitting the surrounding pipe?I havent got a security torx bit so would prefer to do it from the other end(air filter end) leaving the MAF in place. It does move very slightly but seems to be held in place quite securely with plastic tabs.
As usual any help greatly received .

Nah.......your "clock" runs slower the faster you travel relative to slower moving bodies, therefore the faster you travel the slower you age relative to others travelling slower than you, especially as you approach 'c' - the speed of light - you can never get younger unfortunately, and you still age at the same rate "internally" i.e. 1 second per second, it's just that at high velocities 1 second to you equates to many seconds/minutes/hours etc for others travelling at slower velocities (the ratio is dependent upon the delta between your relative velocities) .....Relativity and quantum physics are pet subjects of mine......Something to do with the faster you go the younger you get.
Suffice it to say: even Mihnea's car doesn't have the capability to approach 'c' so i'm afraid none of us will age slower relative to non-S4 drivers unfortunately - and in my case my life may even be foreshortened what with me having crap brakes!
