specs of standard battery.

sorry if this has been asked before, but what are the specs of the standard battery in a RS4? As mine has finally given up the ghost. will be going to costco tonite and have heard they do bosch batteries at a reasonable price.

have you tried checking your part number... failing that measure the dimensions of your batt height width length and get one with atleast the the same cca and sustained output and your done i would think..

yeah there will be a small number in Ah that will tell you how much current it can sustain and a bigger number that is in Ah that will tell you that cold cranking amps it can give to start your motor HTH

Std battery is 340A/70Ah, however it is quite difficult to get an aftermarket one with exactly the same spec. I opted for a 530A/66Ah from these guys .... http://www.tayna.co.uk/item/991/0/067-N ... page1.html

took mine out and had a look says following on side:
12V 70AH
570A EN/SAE
000915105AE,

had a look at costco , they do Bosch one for Audi 12v 75ah £55.21 inc. with 4yr warranty..

on your standard battery the 70ah is sustained and the 570a is the cold cranking for your starter

on your new one 75ah is plenty sustained, make sure cold cranking is the same or more than you had then the starter will work as it should
