I know the chap at Bruntingthorpe from taking my Race car along for the occasional shakedown, and he's letting the three of us on track early morning for an hour.DavidT wrote:When is that please ? and could someone else come along
I'd love to invite you all along but there are a number of reasons I'd like to keep it private for now:
1. It'll be a week-day about 09:00 so will clash with work for most people.
2. It's a favour, but if Ford come along and book the circuit for the day I won't be allowed on, so I will only know for definite the day before (wouldn't want any of you driving a long way and being let down).
3. It's not an organised track-day, there will be no marshals and consequently you'll find it almost impossible to get insurance.
4. At the moment it will be just the 3 of us and an empty track. This reduces the risk and any unforseen liability should anything happen.
If all goes well I'll see about a repeat trip for a few of us

I've been wanting to do RWYB for a while now, but don't fancy cooking my clutch at the mo', although the M3 driver reckons he's got "launch control" and wants to try it - so I dare say we may have a few standing starts at Bruntingthorpe.s4woody wrote:or both get ya butts to santa pod on the wrung what ya brung day..sat 25 march..wooo hooo!!!!![]()
...now, must phone Doug about those ARB's - there's a corner at the end of that 2-mile straight!
