k16/24 porsche hybrid turbo's with 1 point comp drop gaskets

Post by dummi » Sat Feb 16, 2008 9:56 pm

these are used set 3000 miles of k16 turbo's with k24 compressor wheel built by DMS Automotive porsche specialists. exhaust housing and turbine are k16 flow plenty for 2.7 , k24 compressor wheel flows more than the original wheel for earlier boost

as they're used they'll need a rebuild

also included is a 1 point compression drop gasket set, should drop rs4 to 8.3 from 9.3, and s4 from 8.8 to 7.8, have i got that right?

few things to add

-weld on adapters for k16 turbine housing inlet
-3" ASP downpipes with k16 flange

makes it practically bolt on for rs4 with the gasket change

for s4 i have some rs4 intake parts - turbo inlet pipes rubber pipes, RS4 y pipe, RS4 airbox and MAF and accordian

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

same buyer is reserving k16/24 + dp's and flanges for the next week

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

other items i have found of interest are pair of forge diverter valves with piston and spring kits in black new

a set of audi TT rims with kerbing, they are taking up space so i will take offers

Dummi,

FYI: S4 stock static CR is: 9.3:1, RS4 stock static CR is: 9.0:1

Also, no steel layered dropping gasket will give you a 1.0 drop. The most you get safely out of a layered gasket is about 0.4. If you want more you'll need pistons or run a copper spacer plate with orings.

Regards,
Dave

as i recall 0.7 gaskets do ok, if you were wanting to be safe oring and headstud i agree. it is steel so only the smallest amount of oringing
