Re: Rear view mirror sticky pad

I've been through the windscreen hassle, took Autoglass 3 atempts to get it right last time and they ended up putting a genuine screen in.

I've ordered Permatex 81840 Extreme Rearview Mirror Professional Strength Adhesive to try. If this dosen't work a new screen will be sorted.

Re: Rear view mirror sticky pad

I know what you guys mean as I've had a new screen myself. But looking at whats left on the mirror it is some sort of sticky pad. Maybe I'll have to accidentally crack the windscreen and claim on the insurance :bigblink:

Rear view mirror sticky pad

Does anyone know where I can get the sticky pad for the rear view mirror please? I bought a new mount from Audi but it does not have the sticky pad on it. I have tried some from Halfords but they were useless also tried some expensive 3M double side tape but still wont hold the mirror to the screen.

Re: Bose fuse

I have sound now but still no radio reception on any frequency, Anyone had this before. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the diversity system? I was hoping the wiring fault I found would resolve this problem to but alas not.

At least you've found it!
Without the help from here I would of spent days ripping the car apart trying to find it. I never would of thought to take the seat out and look for wiring along the Transmission tunnel.

Check the wiring under passenger seat, by the seat rail nearest the transmission tunnel. Sorted my problems.
Thanks for that, looks like the same bodge I had on the Sharan at least I know where to find it now thanks. :jump_clap:

Re: Bose fuse

Re: Bose fuse

The plot thickens, just pulled glove box out and found this lot. Haven't got a scooby what it is yet but has an old Ipod connector on it. I know the big silver box is the bluetooth module.

Re: Bose fuse

Was it a retrofit RNS-E? /Also is the other car you tested the RNS-E Bose equipped or not? Yes both cars have Bose Shop. Thanks for the diagram and pictures guys  OK that's good. Hi Paul. As above fuse 37. According to my owners manual
Steve, that diagram doesn't tally up with my fuse box, number 43 is a radio fuse 5 amp. Strange, also that picture appears to left hand drive.
