B7 RS4 Flywheel / Gearbox questions

Hi Chaps can anyone answer the following???

The B7 RS4 V8 flywheel is approx 10mm larger in diameter and has a 10 bolt fixing in the centre.

Is the B7 RS4 gearbox the only quattro manual box that has the larger bell housing to accommodate the larger flywheel?

Yes.

But the RS4 flywheel can be machined down slightly and a spacer plate of 15mm can be used to mount it to an 01E or an 016. Still using the RS4 starter motor, DM flywheel and clutch.
