How do I reset the "INSP" on the dash,or is it a v

Post by Russboy » Sat Jan 10, 2009 12:29 pm

About to do an oil change and want to reset the code. Not taking it to the dealers as i've only done about 3k in a year and i'm more than capable of handling an oil change (unlike the last owner who said he'd serviced it and when I noticed an oil leak he'd not done up the sump plug!!).

Is there a way of doing it using indicator stalks etcf as on some othe cars or is it only a VAGCOM job?

Cheers,

Russ

You can do this. Can;t remember how on the B5 cars. Pull out clock adjuster whilst switching the ignition on or something. It is in the manual (or someone from here will confirm).
