are they on stock callipers
anyone using DBA4000 or 5000?
Buzzard, hi.
I'm using DBA 4000 with stock calipers and redstuff pads.
I've tracked the car based on max five laps per session with no ill effects, and I sprint the car, (one timed lap per session), again with no ill effects.
All I would say is that you should follow the disc and pad bed-in instructions to the letter.
On saying all that, I will probably go for yellow stuff pads next time because I am generating quite a lot of heat.
My set up is never going to be as good as a big brake conversion, but I can compete well with others on track.
For info, next sprint is at Goodwood on 19th May, (Saturday week).

dba look better quality than other brands i have gone with
with a good quality disc and pad this standard calliper set up should be ok for fast road.(afterall it was designed for the A8)
if i go ko4 and do some traking then that is a different matter
thanks for input though.
