Front Armrest
Was this ever an option on the S4 (excuse my ignorance!) and if so, is there anything available as an aftermarket part?

Thanks. They've stopped selling them, there...
I noticed vagparts have a few self fit armrests, but I didn't see anything S4 specific.
Pete - is it worth having? Any chance of a photo?

RE: Front Armrest
When I went to buy my Avant last month I asked about it as there isn't one fitted in my car. I was told it's available as an after sale option at around £500.
To be honest, after driving mine for a couple thousand miles without one, I wouldn't part with the money to fit it, as I don't feel the need for it.
Check with your local stealer and see if you get quoted same price if you can't source one elsewhere

Absolutely spot on advice. If you do a *LOT* of motorway stuff then maybe; but 500 quid ??!! Surely it must be the same as on any A4, so a trip down the breakers might be rewarding.....Pete.S wrote:Agreed^. Though it comes in handy on long motorway hauls, I rarely use mine, indeed I find it obtrusive for normal town driving as it gets in the way of gear changes. Would defo not bother spending £500 on one.
