Coolant flush and change

Post by moss » Wed Jul 03, 2024 10:52 am

Thinking of flushing my coolant and replacing , is it a simple job ? Any pointers , like where’s the drain plug and how much fluid does she take
Thanks in advance

No, it isn't - not even if you have use of the vacuum filling equipment.
The drain plug is a hex-headed bolt on the right side of the engine just above and slightly forwards of where the three oil lines mount to the oil thermostat module.

If I remember correctly you need at least 14 litres of coolant in the filling equipment.

Hi all
I found that flushing and replacing the coolant underscores the importance of proper maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the Audi RS6, as understanding the process and materials required can have a significant impact on the health of the engine.
