Thinking of flushing my coolant and replacing , is it a simple job ? Any pointers , like where’s the drain plug and how much fluid does she take

No, it isn't - not even if you have use of the vacuum filling equipment.
The drain plug is a hex-headed bolt on the right side of the engine just above and slightly forwards of where the three oil lines mount to the oil thermostat module.

If I remember correctly you need at least 14 litres of coolant in the filling equipment.
