Replacement clutch parts?

Post by Dannorton » Wed Apr 06, 2016 6:59 pm

Hi all, I'm currently getting all the bits together ready to get the clutch replaced,
I have so far,

Clutch, pressure plate, release bearing
Dmf from rock auto
master cylinder
Slave cylinder
Uprated feed pipe from rob

But I've heard you also need guides and seals etc..

So could someone please let me know what all the other bits and bobs I need to replace.
My clutch pedal is sticking so not sure if I need anything else for that?
Thanks!

Couple things:

-Is there a specific reason you're replacing the master cylinder?
-"Uprated feed pipe from rob"? I haven't been on 246 in a long time, what exactly does this entail? The fluid feed hose from the reservoir to the master cylinder was typically replaced as a part of a TSB. Was this not a thing on the east side of the pond?
-FYI: USP sells a metal slave cylinder (vs. OE plastic) that includes an SS clutch line as well

You will new new bolts for the DMF, new bolts for the pressure plate

New release bearing arm, it's been update change of angle

New release bearing spigot o ring

Also, if your front down pipes have not been off for a while then the studs and nuts will need replacing

Just replacing the master whilst I'm having all the work done as the cars at 80000.
Yes Robnic on here is making an uprated braided pipe from the master to the slave.

Thanks matey, I'll price it all up at Tps now!
