imola RS4 on 9.5 x 19 BBS LMs
I tried my usual suppliers and no-one could get hold of any LM's around Christmas for me....So what's a typical set of 8.5 or 9.5 x 19 likely to set us back Phil? - I may still opt for the 9.5 at some point... or for another project I have in mind.
Thanks Guy

Anyone thinking of 18x9.5 LM instead of 19x9.5 on their B5 RS4, I am running on some 19" sportec righ now and think that the car look kind of jacked up. i Personally think the 18" with a higher profile tire will look better on the B5 as the oem RS4 aero kit are kind of round and doesn't look too Low/aggressive.
Any input?
Cheers,

Just received the LM’s Philip, thanks very much!philipwalker wrote:Des,
Your 9.5x19" Lm`s are on the way from Germany.
Should be with you early next week
Thanks
Philip

For anyone thinking about buying some BBS wheels, I would certainly vouch for using Philip (PW Motorsport), very friendly and provides a very good service!
I wouldn’t think twice about using him again (although not for a while I hope!!!

Thanks again!
Des.
Just can't get the smile off my face......
I've got 8.5 x 19" LM's with 15mm spacers all round - if I could do it again I'd go for 9.5 - IMHO 18" LM's on anything less than 40mm tyres look lost in the arches on a B5 RS4 with standard suspension.RSTaSIS4 wrote:Will 18" look too small for our car?
Look forward to seeing some pictures of yours Des!

So.. What will be the best tire size for the 18x9.5 LM in order to look good? By the way i have Ohlins Coilover on my ride.R5YUG wrote:I've got 8.5 x 19" LM's with 15mm spacers all round - if I could do it again I'd go for 9.5 - IMHO 18" LM's on anything less than 40mm tyres look lost in the arches on a B5 RS4 with standard suspension.RSTaSIS4 wrote:Will 18" look too small for our car?

It depends if you want to keep the rolling radius the same as factory - if you don't mind having a speedo reading that is slightly out then you can go for anything you want, depending if you want the stretched rubber look (lips exposed) or loads of rubber for protection of your rims. I'm seen 19" LM's 9.5 on 255 35 19 rubber and it looked good - I'm going for this option on my 8.5's and I'll post some pictures next week when they tyres are fitted. - My speedo will be slightly out but I think I will have the desired effect by filling the arches on the more than adequate standard suspension.

Thanks so much for your info.. I think i prefer the more rim protection side.R5YUG wrote:It depends if you want to keep the rolling radius the same as factory - if you don't mind having a speedo reading that is slightly out then you can go for anything you want, depending if you want the stretched rubber look (lips exposed) or loads of rubber for protection of your rims.
