I've not driven one, nor seen one in the metal, but this is by far the sexiest photo I've seen in a while. Pure Audi porn.

The RS2 is the most interesting car I have ever driven. I was completely smitten by the engine note and the thump in the back from the turbo. I regret not buying one when I had the chance, and I'll correct that mistake as soon as possible. If it's even possible to find a decent one these days...

Firstly, there's no replacement... nor possibility of reincarnation.

C6 for top-trumps stats, but indistinguishable from an allroad ;)

M5 touring for spacious pace

997 Turbo for dynamic pace (and a bigger grin than the joker)

AMV8 for sound and presence (but by god it feels slow in comparison to C5)

RS4 for those with rings in their blood (oh and less than 6' tall)

Merc... Nah, I'd rather have a Prius.

Gallardo for RS6 money now... now there's a thought!
Present:...
Lotus Evora GT410 Sport, Caterham 420R, CCM Spitfire, VW T2 Bay Window 1976

Past:
DB11 AMR, 992, 991.2, Yamaha MT01, 640d Gran Coupe, 635d Coupe, RS6 C5, Audi TT 225 Coupe, Astra with wind up windows, Citroen ZX, Rover 213, yes behold, a Rover 213... Renault 5

Mines for keeps whatever the price of petrol
RS6 (MRC'd with econodrive) is not just for Xmas
Toyota Aygo Platinum for minimising carbon footprint.

As mentioned before - Alpina B5S is the only saloon I think can trump the RS6... or until the BMW M cars become turbo charged so they get some torque low down.

What about the Maserati - nice shape, nice sound, great driving machine but is lower power than chipped C5 RS6.

XFR looks promising on paper but its a Jag. Woundn't mind a drive in one though to see....

You'll have to also buy a TTRS, RS5 and soon an RS3!

I like the look of the new RS6 saloon with MRC re-map. Also drive past a Vanquish S every day and that is tempting.......

4 door E92 M3 in white with black wheels and red leather, still practical for the kids and a really good drive.
