In the end, these cars are worth what people will pay. I hope to follow darkhorse's lead on this, but then again, perhaps he was lucky snd I may not be be so fortunate. Time will tell I suppose. In this climate, people are looking to stretch their pound further, and some may realise that selling may be the best way forward for them and they will have to accept that they will get less for it now then they would have a year ago - it is a buyers market.
I have no doubt that it may likely cost Darkhorse £15k in the end, but he will be very happy with his car and have no surprises at the end of it. Spending that amount of money upfront does not buy the extra confidence for the buyer, but that is my personal feeling on the matter, each to his own.
I hope people accept this post at face value and just my personal thoughts on the issue.
