Yep 1200 in total of which 600 approx were saloons, I mentioned a ballpark figure of 700 or so Saloons not total---sorry for the confusion
In reality I have no idea how many RS4s were brought in just following others suggestions
The point was regarding the rarity compared with the M3 past, (E46) and potential M3 (E92 +?saloon/cab/touring) present/future sales
Anyway I'm hopefully off for a drive in the new M3 next Thursday at the launch event at Sytner Leicester; the still have my 3yr old deposit on a cab/saloon, so we will see if it's any good
