A very sad me :-(
Re: A very sad me :-(
I had this once when I was between contracts. Ever since, I have just bought and turned up. Obvs everybody's circumstances are unique, but I think she's used to it now.
I do agree though, it's not worth massive agro.

I must admit mine is a goodun prior to buying the C7, she asked me if 'I was going to f**k this one up too', she thinks me modding the C6 caused all the issues, 'no love' was my reply, whilst I was the surfing the interweb for re-maps and wheelsCovkiller wrote:I understand 100% what you're going through. I had to sell my brand new E36 M3 some years ago and now want to buy another one and I have to stand a tirade of <beep> all the fcuking time. I've bloody had enough of women not understanding about a mans passion for cars. I had it over my current RS4 because I've spent loads on making it tip top.

Re: A very sad me :-(
You've got to choose wisely. Version 1 would have given me this level of shyte but V2, even after 10 years, just lets me get on with it. In her eyes, it's just a car. So I have a TVR, and RS4, and get to thrash a mate's 4,500hp triple turbo tractor on weekend jaunts in Europe. It just takes time.

Dread to think what switching cost you so early on. Genuinely, that would cause me to question the relationship. I only got married 6 months ago - don't tell me this is my future!

Re: A very sad me :-(
I've just got divorced through partly my love of cars after 15 years
I could have bought a new rs6 for what its cost me, now I will just have to slowly build stuff back up.
You probably did the right thing lol

Re: A very sad me :-(
I ended up giving the RS6 over to my wife, she loves it, and have just ordered her a PE so its the best solution for us!
Re: A very sad me :-(
There must be something wrong with her. Imagine how pissed off we'd all be if she turns out to be super fit, can deep throat a cucumber and understands the significance of corner flagging in the modern game of rugby.Mcma1 wrote:I ended up giving the RS6 over to my wife, she loves it, and have just ordered her a PE so its the best solution for us!
No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: A very sad me :-(
Surprised she likes the car, it's not practical, can't lob it in a multi-storey and is the size of a bus.

Re: A very sad me :-(
It would have been worse if you just spent all that money then got rid of the car.wrekka wrote:Another real shitter was that i had the car booked in at QSTuning for their m cantronic system!
If it makes you feel any better, a combination of bad luck, IR35 and that flipping london mayor might mean I need to reconsider ownership.
