Checkpoint Charlie

I really don't know what is happening with the RS4, its at Checkpoint 7 and has been for ages (apparently), along with another customers car from the same dealership.

Does anyone know what exactly this Checkpoint 7 is and roughly how long I'm looking at waiting for delivery?

Is it likely that Audi/Quattro will hold onto the cars and send over one big 'shipment' ?

More likely to find that it is type approaval stuff......... usually days rather than weeks......

Checkpoint 7 is the final inspection stage -- quattro Gmbh take this very seriously, they check EVERYTHING, they will also roadtest the vehicle -- vehicles are arriving with anywhere between 50 & 90 miles on them.

So far we have found nothing on delivery RS4's -- they've even set the date & clock !!!
