Goodbye 2017 Audi S4

Hi everyone,
I’m Charlie, new here but glad to finally join the RS246 community. For the past 3 years I’ve been driving a 2017 Audi S4 (B9, 3.0 TFSI), and it’s been an absolute joy – quick, comfortable, and practical enough for daily use. Lately though, I’ve been feeling the itch to step up to something a bit more special. A mix of reasons: I’d like more power, sharper handling, and frankly, I just want to experience one of Audi’s proper RS models at least once.
I’ve been looking at options like the RS4 Avant, RS5 Coupe, or even stretching to an RS6 if it makes sense, but I’m still weighing up practicality vs. thrill factor vs. budget.
For those of you who’ve made the jump from an S to an RS – which model do you think offers the best balance for someone coming from an S4? Any must-know ownership tips or things to watch out for when buying used?
Appreciate any advice you can share.
