Possible gearbox problem

Ok driving along and tpms pops up as well as no reverse gearbox message. Would not go into manual or change gear had to get it going then it would skip 2nd gear to 3rd.

Don't know why the tpms would pop up with a gearbox possible fault.

Reset it all and its now fine but it has done it before

Has anyone else had gearbox faults like this before

@Neilb76 had something similar, sat on A1 in roadworks near Leeds, and noticed gear change from 2nd to 3rd was getting very lumpy. Then for no reason, it cut out. Put into neutral and took 2 attemps to restart.

Had no warning lights on dash, can only guess the gearbox was getting hot and threw its dummy out of pram. Had the car scanned, nothing!!

Dont know if this helps, or someones had similar any thoughts greatly received

Check for faulty wheel speed sensor. This can affect the TPMS and the ability of the transmission ecu to know the road speed and what gear to go into.
