Oil leak advice.

Post by Scottmozz92 » Sat May 17, 2025 11:05 am

Hello guys, after some help if anyone could point me in the right direction?

My C6 is in the garage at the moment with a suspected crank seal leak (part no. 07L 103 051 C) and they’re having a hard time locating one anywhere. Does anyone know where I can locate one or have one I could purchase to give them please?

Everywhere is saying they are now discontinued

Yeap, it was discontinued 01/02/2025 but there's maybe one of the last ones in the US (also used on the 5.2 V10 R8) on US eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/323300069443

The seal size is 55x74x8mm if you end up having to get something custom made but I've no idea about the specific material used.

***EDIT*** - you might be able to find the slightly bigger 07L103051D version which is 55x74x10mm and shave it down to 8mm deep also.

I wouldn't be surprised if an R8 seal fitted. I think that's the sort of thing that these engines might have in common.

The 10mm deep seal (07L103051D) was used on the Lamborghini HURACAN LP600 and has been superseded to 07L 103 051F at around £25 +tax from Eurospares.

Awesome guys thank you for the replies and so quick too. (Much like the cars…)

Sent on to the garage and they’ve ordered one from Lamborghini that’s coming in next week so fingers crossed.
