Hello!! Long time lurker to the forum but just registered as have finally decided to take the plunge into RS4 B7 ownership!

Can I please ask if anyone knows this car? Any thoughts on its condition (rust etc) from the photos?

It looks like a good example. It has the important options (carbon trim, black headlining, DRL, etc). The least desirable colour though IMO (you only have to look on Autotrader atm to see that black cars make up 50-60% of B7's up for sale).
But otherwise it looks good. I'd be checking to see what they mean by DRC service. Have all shocks been replaced? Re-gassed? If so, £1,000 seems cheap for this work.
What is the oil cooler condition like, has that ever been replaced? Assume it hasn't and budget £1k for this work. You ask about rust but it's impossible to tell from the pics. On a car like the B7, given the age now, you really ought to be paying for a pre-purchaase inspection.
Carbon clean at 76k means nothing, as at almost 8k miles on it'll need another one already (mine dropped 25bhp after just 5k miles). Milltek is a bonus, and if otherwise in excellent condition, then anything under £22,000 is a good price given the mileage and history.

Not sure where the seller is getting wingbacks being a £3k option from. They came as standard on the B7, hence almost every B7 comes with them, aside from the few that decided to spec the no extra charge comfort seats.

Ultimately my advice is that it is a buyers market at the moment. B7 prices are as low as they have ever been so you really can afford to be fussy. There's loads of Avants for sale across eBay, Autotrader, PH, etc if this one doesn't work out. Good luck.

Jesus, that's a steal. The market really has fallen out the arse of the B7 in the last few years! Conversley, E92 M3's seem to be on the rise
