Exterior pillar trim.

Post by Chippy1981 » Tue Mar 19, 2024 6:21 am

The pillar trim between my front and rear passenger door has failed and the Matt black finish has started peeling.

Has anyone else had the same issue? If so is there a cheap way to fix this? Or is buying a new pics from the dealers the only option?

Thanks

Hi Chippy,

Mine's the same. It looks to be corrosion resistant, maybe stainless. I'm going to get mine wrapped in 'wet carbon', to match the appearance of my mirrors.

They're held on with a couple of M5 screws under a cover at the bottom.

Would wrapping it with wet carbon work? I'm worried the cost will be quite high.
