Yeah, agree.

We can disregard this now, as we know it refers to another car:

Shame they didnt do a bit better job of cleaning and presenting the interior of the car. Details like that, I know are superficial, but also hint at how the car may have been looked after as a whole.
Hope its a good one though. Love the colour combination, especially the interior!

Is that a water stain on the rear right door card?

Good catch, it could be. If it was the driver's door cart I would say it's just dirty but to see it there is a bit unusual. This car has some intriguing dampness-related history...

Hi Marcin
I think your friend got a bargain - sure there are a few small niggles. It certainly looks like it been dry stored in a container with a few signs of humidity. Those auto-dimming wing mirrors are between 350-400 euros each, so it might be a wise move to replace with regular mirror glass. Like Ben mentioned, it will be interesting to see the underside. If your buddy would like an Audi build sheet, let me know and I'll generate the report and send it over as I have the VIN already. Good luck with the viewing :-)
P.S. My parts car was 395/999 which is kinda close the 388.

Thanks TOPMAN, we'll see tomorrow. Hopefully no surprises :kissmyrings:

Hi Marcin

I did the report and it's now in your inbox. Nothing extra special for this PLUS+ model, it's a standard Black/Cognac (which is special enough).
One thing that did strike me as strange is that it was NOT specified with auto-dimming mirrors, yet it has an auto-dimming mirror fitted?
I would remove that mirror and see if you really have 4 connectors/wires or is it just 2 for the heater element.

Regards
Craig

I thought they ALL had dimming mirrors.

It hasn’t got the multifunction steering wheel either. Loser.

Only has one dimming mirror though. The other one is just glass judging by the photo.

Morning Ben!

I previously thought the same as you, but after completing numerous reports for people across the globe, I can confirm that the only country so far that 100% auto-dimmable mirrors is USA. I also thought for many years that all UK RS6's were fitted with twin plane glass, or as Audi call it Twin Pane Heat & UV Insulating Glass. But I was wrong and it was a £1100 cost option on a £59'875 base line for C5 RS6 Avant (2004).
If you would like an Audi build sheet for your car, send me a message with your VIN. It's free for you :-) You have unknowingly helped me for more than 10 years. I have this habit of leaving the forum and coming back with a different user name :-)

I've got an original options list somewhere. I'll try to dig it out.
