Will run for 12 months just in time I hope to pick up my 2007 M3 I ordered in Nov 2004
deliverys
I have to be honest I'm thinking that myself
I'm on my 3rd BMW at present (5 series) but always wanted and M3 (sad but true) so put a deposit down for an E90 M3 in Nov 2004
BUT
on my drive to work everyday I probably pass 3-4 M3s and yet cannot ever remember seeing an S4 let alone previous generation RS4 Avant
AND
with a 4 yr old I fancy the practicality of a 4 door saloon (at least that's what I told the wife!)
So perhaps I'll keep it. Should last longer than my licence!

Re: RE: Re: deliverys
The Gilders one in Sheffield would have to be 2nd hand though, surely? From what I understand, any RS4 must be registered to the name on the original order - if anyone tries to alter this, the order gets cancelled and the car gets offered elsewhere through Audi UK. As its all computer based, it would be very easy for Audi to check up.Riz_32 wrote: Audi of Macclesfield have one ready for April.
Gilders of Sheffield have a cancelled order, ready for March 1st.
Doncaster Audi had one also along with other dealers... most have only one left including Cardiff for November delivery.
Likewise with Audi Macclesfield, I don't see how they can have a new one ready for April unless it is a cancelled order that will be sold as used (and Audi UK don't know about it!). I know Audi UK went ape-sh1t with one dealership because they discovered a few so-called 'ghost' orders.
Don't get me wrong, I think if a dealer has a genuine cancelled order then they should be able to sell them as brand new, but I just can't see how they can do it - especially as I know how tightly Audi UK have sewn it up.
One thing I've learnt so far (having only just joined the forum today)is how much difference there is between what people have been told about their orders.
I'm not ususally one to pester a salesman but I get the impression that if I ordered my car back in November last year I should at least have a build date by now, is this true or am I just being impatient (and getting more so after seeing pictures of UK dealer demos)
