Thinking of moving from my c7 Performance to a C8

Post by drbru » Thu Jan 11, 2024 12:18 pm

What are peoples thoughts on this?

Whilst I love the look of the C8 im reading a lot about loads of issues with this platform. Would be interested to get C8 owners thoughts on the reliability element of this platform

Thanks

Amazing choice if you go for the C8, you will feel a huge upgrade. Specially now that according to some members here there are discounts of £20/25/30k or even more...It is a big sale!

I did it and really regretted moving to the C8 from a C7 performance.
Some of the tech upgrades are great and as you say the C8 looks brilliant, but in my view, there isn't a noticeable performance upgrade and my C8 was incredibly problematic, with a string of unrelated issues, the main one being a intermittent misfire which neither Poole Audi nor Audi UK could resolve and neither seemed particularly interested in retaining me as an Audi customer, so I sold it and probably won't come back in a hurry.

Wow, seems poorly manufactured then

Yes but worse still was the customer service that I received!

Dam, so Poole Audi are back to being how they was before, awful. I recently had issues with how they re fitted the front bumper, took it back, their approach to it was literally aggressive, told me they would do this and that may need the car overnight, called me several hours later job done apparently, collected the car and it was worse. They did send a video of little use. They kiss your arse take your money and then love stops.
lots and lots, no time served. It’s gets funnier, from yesteryears cars to ones due in months :piss:
