At long last have bought my first RS , a 2024 Carbon. Love it but have two niggles i hope the community can help.
Using the Radio with phone connected via bluetooth the radio turns off and switches to Carplay. You then put the radio back on and happens again 2/3 mins later ! Only solution i have found is to turn off the bluetooth on the phone….. which isn’t a solution really ! Any advice please.
I also cannot find oil temperature or water/coolant temperature … I want to see these temperatures on the screen with the tacho and rev counter . Please help me , i’m sure it’s simple .

Re: New RS4 Owner issues
I have a 2018 RS4 B9 and my water temp is fixed on the outer section of the LHS of the main screen of the cluster shown by white LED's above your odometer reset button behind the LHS horizontal bar of your steering wheel. The opposite side to your fuel gauge.
Now as to where the oil temp is depends on which screen view you are using.
I have attached an image of my normal dynamic driving screens which focuses around the tacho and speed displays.
You have 4 layout displays in the LHS of the screen which you can move through by pressing the left and right arrows on the LHS bar of your steering wheel.
You can then press the view button on the LHS bar of your steering wheel to swap to the comfort screens, this swaps the information around and pushes the tacho and speed displays to the background
The oil temp is at the bottom LHS of my screen.
The oil temp also appears in my head up display (HUD), the display options of which you can scroll through using the HUD control button, top right on your lighting control panel. This is behind your RHS horizontal bar of your steering wheel. Push the button briefly to scroll through I have 3 options, off, speed and satnav directions lastly speed gear and oil temp.
For your info, oil should be at at least 80 degrees C before you start using the loud pedal in anger and should be changed every 7000 miles or so.
Oil and filters are cheap compared to engine repairs!
If you have a B9.5 your displays may vary, I think they kept what they are displaying the same but changed the physical shape of the info on the screen, i.e. from round tacho to the bar type.
Maybe visit your Audi dealer and ask if there is a web portal link to a pdf handbook for your car.
I have my iphone wired into my MMI and Carplay will also try and take priority over the MMI display except if I am in satnav mode.
Basicly Audi's MMI is the thing that lets the car down, they have always been behind the curve but with the software problems they have its probably the last thing on there list.

Re: New RS4 Owner issues
Jools… thanks for your response. I think by fiddling around with the screen and HUD options i should find what i am looking for.
As far as the MMI problem … eventually Audi will resolve it.

Re: New RS4 Owner issues
Congrats on your new car.
Audi dropped the physical water temp gauge from B9.5. They kept the digital oil temp just like in the pic Jools uploaded (in the left bottom corner of the screen)
but you only see it when the car is in RS1/RS2 or dynamic mode with the hockey stick tacho on (by changing the default screen setup to 'RS performance' the hockey stick one
in the MMI I think it will stay on the screen all the time). The water temp gauge... I couldn't find any except the RS monitor in the MMI which only tells the temp range by
changing the colour of the radiator. If there's any way I can get the water temp to show on the VC I'd love to know (other than plugging in crappy devices in the OBD2 port).
I remember the HUD on B9 had water temp gauge, but I don't know if B9.5 kept it as mine doesn't have a HUD. Maybe someone who has can chime in.
