Autodoc again! https://www.autodoc.co.uk/metzger/20296381

There are cheaper ones but this is a brand I've heard of vaguely and supposedly are ok.

Cool. I think I would have made the same choice.

Hopefully it'll fit OK and we can confirm that 01V919821B is equivalent to 01L919821B. I'm 99% sure it is anyway.

/Just checked and the cheapo part I ordered was 01V919821B. It looked identical to the previous F125 in the junk parts box, IIRC.

Switch has only just arrived. Bloody autodoc drive me insane sometimes. Stuck in their warehouse for days on end. It's always the stuff you are gnashing your teeth for that is delayed!

Not got any where with relays as none have exactly the same diagram as the 53 labelled one on the Deutsche parts site. Got a hella guess and also a Bosch guess. Neither look quite identical.

Ben I think mechanically those 2 part numbers are the same, but one has a molex type plug and the other a round plug.

Hmm Image guess my parts catalogue must be wrong then? That’s odd…

Round plug is the old version, not sure on the part number but it's different, maybe just no suffix?
Edit: I think it's 0501209763

Dropped the car off. Even when the car hasn't got the PRND warning it's definitely thumping and possibly slipping. I may have finally lost the game of gearbox roulette

That doesn’t sound good. Fingers crossed for you for a favourable outcome.

Any fault codes?

Maybe get them to replace the ATF and strainer. They can drop the valve body while they’re at it and check for split metal pipes.

Gearbox was all serviced last year I think. Not done many miles since. It did the PRND flash last year when I first started it after winter but it behaved perfectly from then on the few times I used it. Caned it to Radwood and back and not squeak of bother.

I don't think it was chucking any codes before but I assume it will now. Hopefully it just moans about the switch and that it's just the switch again...
