Huddersfield Audi had my car 1 day. Dropped in the morning, collected in the afternoon.

Full clean bill of health on the check too. :)

Same for me. Dropped off first thing, job completed within a few hours. Clean bill of health on the check!

Not sure why some dealers are quoting multiple days work.

Glad to here some are getting the recall done within a few hours.
My understanding is that they have to check if the airbag is one of those affected before replacing it. Then replace if needed.
Those who've had there's done in a few hours - is there any confirmation that the airbag has been replaced? Or, its been checked and not required?

Just interested :)
Cheers

Yes you're right, that is the process that they undertake. I was informed upon dropping the car off that it would be checked first and only replaced if needed.
Upon collection, mine was confirmed as one that was needed to be replaced. I'm actually yet to hear of one that was inspected and considered to be a model that didn't need replacing.

Just picked mine up. I couldn't wait to speak to anyone so not sure if they've actually done anything. Cleaned which was nice.

So I'm up 1 car wash and a cup of coffee on the deal.

Car back after 4 hrs, clean bill of health. Amazed they didn't try to extract any cash by hook or crook...

You just gotta laugh at the prices Audi quote for jobs.

Gets better. My car does need the work doing however the bolts needed to complete the repair are on back order from Audi in Germany and no date at the moment for delivery . Cars getting cleaned so I can pick it up and they’ll be in touch when the parts have arrived to rebook. Can’t make this <beep> up.

The prices are hilarious.

The tiny 'No Thanks' button is kind of desperate. It's these small things that make me not want to buy a new car from them, it just feels very EasyJet and not what you expect from a supposed premium brand.

Brake and labour prices are extortionate.

£234 for wiping a bit of oil away - brilliant :)
Cant wait to get mine booked in - might take a new set of front discs I've got, see if they'll give me a grand for them as they must be paying through the roof from their suppliers to charge that :)

Well... no loan cars available till late August at my dealer.
Haven't received my letter yet either..
Advice is - don't crash in the meantime :)
