Andy i ordered mine in August and mine was built last week (build week 6) for delivery anytime now. My dealer has kept me updated at every turn and even rang me after Audi's demo car was shown to them to tell me all about it.

Give them a ring thats easiest, or skowdaw could maybe shed some light on it.

cheers

Rob

Andy, i wouldn't be happy if i was you. I would be on the phone badgering the salesman and speaking to his dealer principle. Me and my brother in law placed our deposits in late January and received confirmation of build this week (week 11) and an anticipated delivery time. Our salesman contacts us regularly via phone/email and we send videos and pics back and forth.

I would speak to them ASAP -- the way it should work is :
Dealer takes your order & deposit
Dealer orders car from Audi
Audi provide dealer with Commision no -- this is the number that identifies your car throughout the build and delivery process
Next dealer will be given build week
Production Confirmed
Final Inspection
Arrives at dealership

By now the absolute minimum you should have is the commision number, but really you should have a build week as well.

I still havent got my forms to sign, so I rang the dealers today, the sales person who I put the order with wasnt in so I insisted to speak to somebody.... the chap on the phone said he would have "strong" words with the sales person tomorrow and to get him to call me.

The chap on the phone had a word with the sales manager and said everything was in check and that the car had been ordered!

Yes they are but some dealers still have their allocations, so if your lucky you can pick one up.

Audi of Macclesfield have one ready for April.
Gilders of Sheffield have a cancelled order, ready for March 1st.
Doncaster Audi had one also along with other dealers... most have only one left including Cardiff for November delivery.

Just ring around.......

limited production runs of RHD cars I am told. They have to adjust the assembly line back to LHD to fulfil rest of world orders. Another RHD run planned so I don't think its limited production numbers.

Apparently, the next RHD run will be for 2007 cars. Hopefully, with this in mind, residuals look like they should be strong - certainly for the next 8 to 12 months.

Does anyone know when the build will finish for good? Ie what's the latest delivery date we could order one for?
Need to let my dealer know my plans, as not to mess them about.
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

It is expected that the B7 RS4 will continue in production untill at least the end of the B7 range -- probably end of next year begining of 2008.

However it is also possible that the RS4 may continue production after this -- we'll wait and see what Audi come up with.
