I haven't bothered with seat covers. The leather is really good quality and survives basic wear and tear very well in my experience. That said I haven't had kids or pets in mine. Not sure about previous owners.

Collected it today and what a drive I got in the 30s just cruising back for Leeds.

Found the engine bay heat a bit concerning and reminded me of my Renault 5 Turbo 😂

Yup, that's Jekyll mode. Hyde is never far away when you want him.

Glad your happy with your investment, it looks a lovely car.
Your MPG you will find is external temperature dependant. With about 18 to 20 degrees and a good motorway run (140 miles) I've had 39 MPG at an average speed of 60 MPH.
That's with Hyde poping out now and again!

Congrats and enjoy!

I use Audi's genuine leather care kit 4L1096372 regularly to keep the seat covers clean. Not cheap but they're super easy to use and help keep the covers' matte texture really nicely.
I've tried other stuff but all of them left streaks and slightly oily sheen after wiping.

Thanks for all your replies really felt as one this weekend and what a great car.

Jools you are right about temperatures it’s a bizarre thing when cruising with the MPG 38.5 is awesome.

I went for the Amazon seat cover and they are mint and will order the leather care.

How do reset trip mileage and calibrated my tyre sensor and can’t find the funky menu with pressures etc.

The trip mileage reset button on my car is on the LH trim panel below water temperature gauge. You can't be blamed for missing it as it's hiding behind the spoke of the steering wheel! See the picture.

The TPMS reset is as follows:
Switch on the ignition.
Select the following on the infotainment system:
MENU button > Servicing & checks > Tyre pressure loss indicator > Store tyre pressures > Yes, store now.
The tyre pressure monitoring system will then measure the current tyre pressures when you drive the vehicle and store them as the new reference values.
If the new tyre pressures do not appear on the infotainment display, you will need to drive for about 10 minutes so that the sensor signal from the wheels can be received again.
During this initialisation phase, --.-- will be shown on the pressure and temperature display and some functions of the tyre pressure monitoring system will not be available. The system will warn you only if the pressure of one or more tyres is below the minimum reference pressure.

For the leather I have only ever used a microfiber cloth, wetted in hot water then lightly wrung out. Then a good wipe over the necessary leather especially the steering wheel (not scrubbing). The matt finish will return and you'll be horrified how much dirt lifts off!

Have you got the manual for the car? There is also an e-manual, let me know if you need one. If you download and sign in for the MyAudi app you can tap into other services.

Cheers Jools

I’m gutted I don’t have that RS Display.

Got the manual but can’t be bothered to read it 😂

I do prefer the B9 instrument display over the B9.5 facelift.
I would have thought Audi would have had the option to choose between the old and new displays, but any how.
