Finally the delivery day:

@Gtsr, no problem to lock and unlock doors with key in the pocket.
Stunning car! Congrats!

Interesting, is your car the Vorsprung trim (UK)? If so it seems that convenience key is back. Recently it was only available on the base rs6 performance trim.
It is the RS6 Performance trim in Belgium. Convenience key is included with the alarm system pack

That makes sense now, thanks. In the UK convenience key was removed from the top trim. Audi UK is always messing with its customers.

Wonder what else is missing from the UK spec.....mines sat at the factory still awaiting a 'part' for completion so maybe it will turn up with a few bits missing!

Looking like October delivery now

Good surprise this morning, I was told it was not possible to have steering wheel heating with alcantara. But it is.

I am considering installing some bodykits in my car such as spoiler, front splitter, etc. Do you guys recommend any reliable company in the UK (ideally London)?

Anyone facing delays with production because of an issue with parts coming from Slovenia?

Have the dealer mentioned the flooding in Slovenia as the cause for the delays?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Audi need to sort out their supply chain issues.

I was waiting for my C8 RS6 for over a year and then the date simply pushed out four weeks every four weeks. I had to cancel and buy a 'nearly new' one.

I can't comprehend how they're selling a £130k car on a promise that is basically a lie and expect people to keep their orders. If I ran my business like this I wouldn't have a business.

I was going to order a Taycan GTS Turismo but the Porsche dealer told me it would be at two years... Audi told me six months so I bit... But it would have been two years anyway.

No specific reason just that it was sat at the factory awaiting parts. While the RS6 has been cancelled I still have an R8 on order and that's now at build week 51/52 at the moment, having moved lots of times, so I'm not holding out that it will actually get built as my understanding is the R8 ceases production this year. Lets wait and see!

Still waiting on an order placed the day the performance was announced (Dec'22). Tango red, gloss carbon, ceramic brakes red calipers.
The dealer says the order will be honoured even though the colour and brakes are not currently available on the configurator.
Has anyone else received a car with now non configurable spec?

I gave up waiting for my order after 9 months and bought an RS etron GT with a 1,000 miles on it for a £40k discount on list. Absolutely loving it still. I won’t rule out an RS6 again after owning 2 but the RS etron GT really is something special. Different but great.

Very strange, they must have been special order as they were never in the uk configurater.

I know they were available on standard RS6 for £9k or £11k, can’t remember. Like the idea but not at that £££
