The original listed sensor for the RS6 was 059919523A - that was superseeded to 059919523F about 10 years ago.

LOL, got to love "random" issues with weird fixes. I used to fix electronics and the amount of random stuff which just fixes itself once its forced into connecting to another device (code reader, laptop etc) is always a surprise.

Update here guys, I had a low battery condition and I think it causes the Temp gauge to not work or something, but if you clear the codes with VCDS (loads after a low batt) then it then comes back to life...
