Radiator fan cooling

Hi all,
Question I have is as from which oil (or water?) temperature the radiator fan should still be working even after shutting down the engine?

In the past I noticed that the fan would at times continue to run after stopping the engine but now it does not. The front sides (wheel fenders) get quite warm as well when parked, as observed near to the side radiators I believe.

@Kees777 have a similar problem, well one of the problems, car is booked in on Friday with Audi, so may be a similar fault but will let you know what I get told. My osf gets alot of heat come through, maybe just the way fan blows hot air out!!
