Audio AMI to USB

Hi all, quick question please.

Our 2015 b8.5 has full std Bluetooth audio on the bang and olufsen system BUT I have the AMI socket in the glove box with the genuine Audi AMI to USB adapter etc.



If I plug my Samsung phone in to this it states lead or device not supported etc.

I like USB over Bluetooth due to quality loss.

Has any one manged to play though USB with options on screen etc or is it better to just use a USB stick etc.

I've got an ipod in the glovebox, connected with the audi lead, and have had no problems. I've never tried plugging the phone in though, it usually just syncs with bluetooth.
I've also copied a large chunk of music from my pc onto an SD card, and uploaded those into Jukebox. So, I suppose, 3 bases covered, - I can't say I can notice any difference in sound quality from one format/media to the other. Using the ipod/glovebox source means I get the album artwork on the screen, but that's about the only noticeable difference.
