That’s weird. Sounds like it was waiting for a condition to be met before allowing the output tests to start.

IIRC it also needed repeated attempts to get the output tests to work, when we initially suspected fan 1 faulty.

I’m not sure what the error message means. Maybe try posting on the Rosstech support forum since you have a genuine cable.

Don’t think I dare say this.
No oil leak on the drive since the near side drive shaft seals replaced.

Just nipping out to make a sacrifice to the Audi gods.

Just a quick update on this.
It’s two months since the near side drive shaft oil seal was replaced.
Very happy to report that drive is free from oil stains.
Not a single drop of oil has leaked.
And believe me my wife has been out looking every morning.
