Hi folks, just joined up tonight and thought I would introduce myself!
Based in Lanark, Scotland. Love my cars and love my motorbikes.
Bought myself an RS4 B9.5 carbon around 8 months ago came from an M5 comp, brilliant car but wanted a change and always fancied an RS.
I was origanly I’m the market for a 2021 RS6. Had a test drive in both the 4 & the 6 and despite the significant difference in power. I found the RS4 a bit more fun to drive and not that far behind in performance. I guess the much lighter RS4 closes the performance gap a fair bit. As the RS4 was significantly cheaper as well, I went for that.
Not done much to the car but intend to do a lot over the coming months. So far I’ve only fitted my plate and replaced the silver rings and badges with OEM black badges today, looks much better in my opinion.
Plan to fit wheel spacers, looking for advise on optimum size, I measured today and it looks like 15mm fromt and maybe 18-20mm rear?
Next will be Resanator delete or maybe a full Miltek system.
Eventuri Imtake
Tuning
I would love to first a Maxton body kit but unfortunately they don’t do anything for the B9.5! Urban kit is too expensive at around £5k so I’m on the look out for an alternative.
I’ll try and post a couple of pics, I don’t have many, need to get more. Thanks for indulging me and I look forward to exploring the forum.

Hi Stevie, welcome aboard, I'm from Dumbarton, so I'm not too far away from you. Can't help with your questions, sorry. Good, you're into bikes too. What are you riding just now ?.. I sold my van and track bike last year, fed up with the travelling and setting up.. got my HP4 still on the road..

Re: Hi, introduction
Hi Stu, good to meet you pal. I’ve got a 2020 KTM 1290 Superduke R, love it, great fun.
Moved away from sports bikes a couple of years ago. Sold my Panigali Speciale and S1000RR.
Also had a KTM 250 6 days enduro but that’s gone as well.
Got rid of my Blade track bike and van around 2017. Broke my collarbone at Knockhill last time out, one broken bone too many and the wife and kids decided I was too old and reluctantly sold up mate. Similar to you. Was getting fed up losing a whole weekend and a lot of cash!
Love the HP4. I looked at one they had in Motorrad East Kilbride when I bought the S1000RR, I’m sure it was a 2014 plate. It’s an itch I’ve yet to scratch, stunning bikes.

Re: Hi, introduction
Howdy mate..Panigale is a nice machine. My mate tracked and raced his, sold it a few years ago, and went back to R1s..
Owned a few Blades, still say my RR9 was the best bike I've ever owned, excellent handling, turbine smooth engine and fantastic brakes, the only bike I've ever owned that I could take the rear road tyre down to almost slick over the full width..
Had a blast on a 990 Superduke and couldn't keep the front wheel on the deck. The torque was enormous, great fun ! Tyres and fuel are real thing now, never mind the travelling, 7 hours to Cadwell is no fun, Oulton and Croft can do both in half the time, Oulton the preferred option.
Was at Angelsey last year when that boy was wiped out. You kind of fall into that false sense of safety on the circuit, particularly when you get into it with another ride and you're both really going hard..
Nice motor man, I hope you're enjoying it ..

Re: Hi, introduction
Welcome! The black badges are a must - look much better. Thought about getting it mapped?
Also Lanark is a lovely part of the world - used to work out there (now back in Hamilton). Used to enjoy the commute through the clyde valley!

Re: Hi, introduction
Hi folks,
joined up a wee while ago and posted pics. Updated pics attached following some mods. Maxton Designs have recently released a full body kit for the RS4 B9.5 facelift. Thought I would share as some members may be thinking about purchasing.
Full Maxton body kit, front splitter, side skirts, rear canards, rear diffuser and rear roof spoiler extension.
i have recently fitted wheel spacers to improve the stance of the car. 15mm front and 20mm rear. I’ll update and post pictures of that mod later. The pictures attached were taken before I fitted the wheel spacers.
The 15mm front are right on the edge, I may change to 12mm if I get any rubbing, nothing so far though.
Also recently purchased an OBD2eleven PRO scanner. Just started playing with it. Looks like a very capable bit of kit so far. I have activated the Apple car play wireless Bluetooth connection, also used it to retract the rear parking brake to change the pads. I’m looking to learn a lot more about coding for this car.
Some tuning next, looking at a couple of plug in maps, engine and transmission. 450BhP to 520BHP looks to be a fairly easy upgrade to start with.
Im happy with the results so far.

Re: Hi, introduction
Motors looking great Stevie, not many cutting about with the body kit on, good to be different lol.
Is there any noticeable increase on road/wind noise with the kit on, I'd think it will be gripping the road well with those spacers fitted.
Just listed my HP4 up for sale. I haven't used it much over the last couple of years and had other bikes come and go in that time, sort of fell out of favour with riding and preferred running about in my car, must be an age thing.
Cheers. S
