That really sucks, one feature that I’ve always found really useful. Assume still has the wave your foot under the bumper to open / close? A feature I actually rarely use, and hate when you’re loading your boot and it starts closing on your head!

No all my Vorsprung A/S6’s with keyless entry, so called ‘convenience key’ I think, had this feature

Even my old 2.0tfsi had both buttons for boot lock and the Kick function. RS6 Vorsp is the same.

The phone box was dropped in late 2021... semiconductors were blamed.

I always found the wireless charger in my ‘21 Allroad was actually a phone over-heater more than a charger anyway! So never used it.

Definitely no kick function I can see, starting to look like an idiot waving my foot around ! Is it setting that needs to be enabled?

I know you can disable the keyless door entry function on the MMI, but can’t remember if this also disables the boot opening too.

Wow. That is the exact spec of mine inside and out. If it ever arrives!

As I posted above, I ordered in Jan, have had a June build week for months and now no build week.

Just got this email from Audi UK.

“Right now, we're gathering all the various materials and parts needed to create your new Audi RS6.

We are sorry to inform you that along with many manufacturers we’re currently experiencing issues in our supply chain due to the global shortage of semiconductor chips. As a result, our production capacity has been reduced, meaning our delivery times are longer than they would normally be, so this next stage could take longer than we would like. Please be assured your order is our priority and we will be in touch when we have updates from the factory.

If you have any questions about your model in the meantime, contact your local Audi Centre with your order number to hand.“

Not sure I ever received that email for mine

I got

Your order has been received : 21/12/22
We’re underway : 11/4/23
Our work is done: 18/4/23

Picked it up about 5 weeks later

I’ve always found the emails a bit hit and miss. When I order my C7 RS6 Performance there was a website that allowed you to track the build process

I’ve just received the final email from Audi telling me my car is ready for collection. Bit odd given I collected it last week !

I have just requested to change the alloys on my order from the diamond cut alloys to the matt black. Videos out with cars arriving now make the matt black alloys look good.

Has anyone else gone with the diamond cut?

Diamond cut look amazing IMHO, even better in the flesh

I’ve only seen mine and one other also in matt neodymium gold. I suspect they look awesome in any colour. Has changing your spec impacted your delivery date?

Still cant believe these cars come with Hankooks.

Mind you - my vorsp came with them and im 11k in and the tyres are all still good.
