So potentially I'm misreading that diagram then?

Wouldn’t surprise me. Can see him cruising along the sea front bouncing up and down.

Ha ha. Cruising ( not posing ) along the seafront sounds good.
Don’t do much bouncing up and down these days
If fact I don’t do anything that makes you sweat ???

I have been monitoring the drive for oil leaks since the steering rack had been replaced.
Initially the odd wet patch about one inch in diameter was still evident.
However This all changed about 3 days ago.
I started parking my car where there was no oil stains on the drive.
Happy to report that there hasn’t been a single drop of oil
Spilled Onto the drive.
I think there must have been some residual oil from when the steering rack was replaced. The seals on the old rack must have been weeping for quite some time.

The mechanic did say that he got rid of as much oil from the steering tunnel as he could. But obviously he couldn’t get rid of all of it.

Long May a clean oil free drive continue.

Rumour has it that is you do 3 left circles in a parking lot you'll un-jinx yourself, either that or don't ever let a banana in the car - or is that for boats??
