This is likely one of the best examples available today. I have owned this since for 2 years and in my time have put a lot of time, money and effort getting it up to one of the finest examples available. It was a good car when I bought it but I like having my cars as close to showroom condition mechanically and cosmetically.
All major common faults have been rectified and cost over £8000. This included the following work:
* Carbon clean intake and head (know to build up carbon and reduce efficiency and performance)
* Swirl flap delete (known to fail and can lead to catastrophic failure of the engine)
* Rear parking brake motors replaced (known to fail which will leave parking bake on)
* Replace all fuel injectors
* Replace all spark plugs
* Full service including all oils and filters
* Beyond a full service I had gearbox oil, rear diff oil, transfer box oil and front diff oil replaced (these are supposedly lifetime oils but I don’t agree with this and had these done)
* New Michelin PS4 Pilot Sport tyres all around (done around 2000 miles)
* Replace front and rear upper control arms
* Replace lower rear control arms
* New CV boots
* Custom remap on a rolling road (this is not a performance remap more to ensure the car is optimised with the swirl flap delete)
* All 4 wheels refurbished
* Full detail
* Internally I have installed a bluetooth which integrates to the MMI meaning you can stream music
The car is very well spec’d and comes with the following key items:
* B&O speakers
* Rear blind, including passenger windows
* Heated seats front and rear
* Carbon fiber inlays
* Tyre pressure monitoring
* Sensors all round
* Finger print ignition start (allows you to input multiple users and the car fully adjust seats, mirror based on each user)
* Sun roof
* Soft closer doors
* Keyless start
* Alcantara headlining
* CD changer
* MMI with Sat Nav
* TV tuner and DAB tuner
* Comfort seats
I purposely looked for a well spec’d car without carbon ceramic breaks. It adds little to the enjoyment and they do squeak but main reason is they cost over £1500 a corner to replace.
Overall this is well cared for car with no issues and everything works as it should.
I’m asking for £15,500 as I believe with the condition, mileage and work undertaken this is a fair price. It took me a long time to find the right car and I have no doubt the new owner will be very happy with this. Sad to see it go but I don’t drive it much and time for a new owner to enjoy.
