Pretty much ticks all of what im looking for but does anyone know this car?

Seems like a very good example in terms of spec etc but is that a fair price even in this market?

Thanks

Nice car but you are paying a premium from Audi as you’ll get the years approved used warranty which if purchased privately could cost you north of £2.5k. It is a later performance addition car but looks like it was specd with the standard car wheels and full leather seats as opposed to performance alloys and alcantara seats.
I’ve just bought a 2016 performance addition with 54k for £51k

The problem is, even at that price , it still seems priced well to everything else that is currently on the market

…..and to be honest I think I’m more comfortable paying a premium if I know that the car hasn’t been previously mapped etc etc

You’ll definitely be able to negotiate a 2 year Audi warranty.

I managed to get that with all the Audi dealers I was dealing with.

Yes you’re paying a premium, but the piece of mind is priceless.

For me also peace of mind is worth it. Push them for the Warranty.
Thanks

Its got a decent spec but I couple of things that would personally put me off, the standard alloys (allegedly more prone to buckling) the round steering wheel, I know thats a minor and trivial thing, but some people (like me) I really want a car with the standard flat bottomed steering wheel and would be put off buying one without it, same as the comfort seats (non-quilted)

I've been watching the market for a while, I'd say the price is a touch strong given the mileage but not silly compared to others that are out there. As for warranty, just extend the normal Audi warranty when the approved car warranty expires? That's what I did last year when my original warranty (4 years) ran out, I think I pay something in the region of £65 per month.

Thanks for your comments bud and I hear you. So for me and I guess this is personal taste, I actually prefer the standard 21 inch alloys but i do hear you about the steering wheel. I too would have preferred the flat bottomed version but its not enough to put me off the car and can always change the steering wheel myself

In terms of buying, I think I would only be comfortable buying from an audi dealer for this kind of car as thats the only real place i can be sure that the car hasn't been mapped etc and I have the best chance of come back if there are any problems. Going forwards I will definitely keep extending the audi warranty but was trying to weave something into the deal....I noticed the car 15 mins after the original advert went on the Audi website and at this stage, the dealer is not going to drop the price and hence why I was pushing for a longer warranty because I know its worth in the region of 1k per year

Either way the spec seems quite strong and whilst it is not 100% what I want its still quite a bit better than what's currently for sale in terms of price/spec etc etc

Still need to gather more info around the car as it hasn't even been through their own checks but deposit is fully refundable should I find something that I dont like - thats what they tell me anyway!

Fingers crossed!

much appreciated and thanks for that...All looks like fairly standard stuff. Looks like the car did quite a few miles in the first 2-3 years then relatively few

Dealer has also told me that no warranty work has ever been needed on the car

At that mileage i would have a very very close look at the brakes. They are usually worn at around 30K so either they have been done or still need doing. Budget around £2-2.5k for brakes all round.
Ask them if they will service the sunroof prior to sale as they are weak points on C7 models and can leak. Extended warranties dont cover the repair. If its serviced by them at sale time and fails soon after at least you have some recourse

I’m glad you mentioned that because it’s exactly for reasons like that that I’m purchasing through Audi ie if they find that the breaks need doing anytime soon then should have them replaced

I’ll ask about the sunroof but think I’ll get lucky if they agree to do that for no charge
