Hi All,
I'm looking to recommission my car after several years off the road due to long term illness. The car has the dreaded rusty megafuse disease, which has completely killed the electrics...
I have Elsawin but for some reason it won't show the crucial first wiring diagram 10/2, just a blank picture. If anyone has it, could you please post it? I'm considering replacing the two megafuses with a power fuse distribution box feeding the separate circuits via individual mega and/or midi fuses (some are paired to the megafuses and main junction box).
Many thanks, Rachael

I'll PM it to you.

Oof, thats not looking good, did it have standing water in there for a while i take it? Drains blocked?
Re: RS6 C5 - Current flow diagram 10/2?
Thank you Shoppinit!
It may have had standing water, but there is no obvious tide mark. I will clean up the area and test with a hose. It does look like galvanic corrosion, copper vs steel, and maybe water getting trapped in the fuse casing itself. The lower cable with the red heat shrink has completely fallen off.
If the cables are long enough, I might relocate the fuses higher up, maybe in the area between the brake servo and coolant tank.
