Happy to buy one and thread pitch gauge set. Cheers Steve. 👍

Regarding the Top mounts, what I’m I looking for? Auto doc are showing loads.

I replaced the top mounts and bushes at unit 20 when I had the new bilsteins fitted.
Will look and see if part numbers are on the invoice.

Thanks Steve, much appreciated. The Febi mounts mention Bilstein so I guess I’ll go with them. 👍

Febi-Bilstein is a brand. I’ve always been satisfied with parts from them.

I’m obviously being a bit blond here but when I ask for the front top mount via OEN I get told that the part Steve ordered doesn’t fit the RS6. Any ideas?

Computer says no!

Computer say yes but different OEN to Steve’s.

Chris. I didn’t order them.
Unit 20 supplied and installed them.

- Replace the top mounts for the front and rear. Part numbers are:
2 off 4D0 412 377 F
2 off 8E0 512 121 D

I'd get the Lemforder or the Meyle one.

I'd get the Febi one.

Thanks Steve, I did understand that mate. I was just saying that for some reason it was telling me they won’t fit.

I’ve gone for the set Ben has recommended. I’ll post pictures when they arrive so others can be familiar with them should they refer themselves. 👍

I’ve just found this product which looks perfect for applying to the threads of the coilover once cleaned. All reviews I’ve read have nothing but good things to say. 😎

Thought I would share as those of you with shiny new coilovers might want to consider using this.

Helps if I add a link. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I like ACF50, I use a bit of it on the undercarriage now and again.

Generally ignore the lookups. Buy based on part number is my usual guideline

Exactly. We’re lucky to be able to look up the exact OE reference.
