Having that strap thing in place now is useful, can't have one of them without the rails.
But you also have the ability to still have the net, if necessary.

Would I do it again? Not too sure, considering the final cost.
I had assumed I could use all of the bits that clip into the rails from my A6, which isn't the case. So, had to invest in one of these:

Interesting, thanks! I'm asking as I'm waiting on a reserved approved used rs4 which has the system installed. From the limited views I have of it so far before I get to go and see it, the actual posts / strap parts might be missing. Just wondering if I should be fussed about trying to get Audi to provide some (or finding some on ebay).

Yes, get as much out of the dealer is possible.

They may have stored the attachments away somewhere in the car?

I definitely will. Hopefully it's all in there somewhere, otherwise I'll get them to order more.

Yes, they were my other choice but all the one's I've seen were on silly money.

So, I thought I'd be a good boy and look at getting the transmission fluids changed, as we're now approaching 50k miles, but my cars always get pampered.

Costs are (inclusive of VAT):
Transmission service: £861.50
Front final drive: £139.20
Rear final drive: £220.50

Ooh neat idea. Did you need to change any coding after swapping the bulbs?

Not had to change anything, apart from replacing the puddle lights.

It's been a while since I posted, the RS went in Jan but I do really miss it. I wonder if anyone on here has taken ownership of it. It was on an 18 plate, but it's now been changed.

Missing my RS, seriously thinking about getting back into one. Would anyone know the main differences between the B9 and B9.5? So far I have established:

The MMI has been upgraded, you no longer get the touch pad by the gear level, but instead there is now a touch screen. The screen is also bigger.
Carplay/Android Auto are now wireless
Body work changes

Anything else?

OPF, new headlights w/ animation on start, chrome detail in rear light cluster, and perhaps crucially the 9.5 is when all the granular options disappeared and you picked from 3 or 4 trim levels instead. So no pan roof unless you find a Vorsprung, the top trim, for example
