Thats your engine mounting. Common fault for them to go bad. Usually a black oil. A scan should confirm there is a fault as they are active. Right side is 4H0199384B at £722.48

Thank you very much for the quick expensive answer lol, are they a sealed unit? Or are the fed oil ? Any recommendations regarding how to do this job?

Thank you

Sean

Yes sealed unit so no fed oil. There is only a limited amount of oil it will leak so shouldnt mess up your driveway too much. If the scan confirms the fault and depending on how bad the split is then you can still use it but i'd get it done as soon as. Check the other side as well. You need to support the engine from above and remove the metal case you show in the pics. The main bolt is accessed from the wheel well through the subframe. Can be fiddly getting it out and back in

Thanks for all your help, just did some research and it looks like a job I could handle, I’ll post some pics when I get round to it.

Thanks again 👍👍👍

No problem. might be worth checking ERWIN online for the factory repair guide if you dont already have.
Oh and you will need ODIS or possibly VCDS to 're-marry' the new mount to the car. Some more info on the Audizine site if you do a search
