Mine's a facelift and without looking at the paperwork I am pretty sure it was registered March 99. Mine has the analogue clock (much prefer it).
That's interesting, I've seen cars registered after April 99 which were definately pre-facelift - there must've been a stockpile somewhere that weren't registered?

Yes it is my second. Moved house recently and nopw getting a lot more miles on the car. 10k in the last 5 months.

Will probably by a run about to go to work in and save the S4 for weekends and Friday fun.

Anyone know of a cheap audi for sale? Around £400?

I did see a 1990 Audi 80 with 75k on the clock for £400. Would get my money back in 6 months through reduced running costs

lol @ you lot!! :D

been looking at the "general" pricing of S4s - seems that for £10K, you can really only look at a pre-facelift with circa 80,000 miles (clutch/cambelt etc if you're lucky)

Still got that silver one to look at.

After speaking to Big Mo (RS6) last night, there's a meet at Castle Coombe in a few weeks. Anybody going?

Mine's a 2001, silver with 95k on the clock. Just about to renew tyres, upgrade suspension, service etc. Cam, water pump, tensioners etc all done.
No idea what it's worth though.

Another positive reason for having a lame workhorse for the weekdays.....When you get back in the beast at the weekend it's like driving it for the first time all over again.......remember when you got that first fix of boost heaven :D
