Hi,
I’m currently selling my C7 RS6 and I’m speccing up a new C8. I’m trying to get a test drive but it’s proving to be impossible as no dealer seems to have a demo!
Could anyone give me some advice of options they couldn’t live without? I’ve currently got DRC on my car, is this the best option to go with for the C8?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Help with options
To be fair you can't really spec much! I think most people just add Comfort and Sound Pack + Tour Pack. If I could go back in time I would have gone for the tan leather.

Thanks for the reply,
And with regards to DRC or Air? What’s the general opinion on which is best?

I like in the sticks and the roads are not great, air is the tits in my opinion, when your in comfort it's like driving a 7 series / S class, but you can still smash it on the back roads.

I have a Vorsprung so on DRC. My C7 performance was on air so can only compare the two. DRC on the C8 is as good from a ride perspective as the air on the C7, but it is more precise, stays flat and very compliant and smooth on a cruise. On the twisty bits is flat, and rides the bumps well. Id say either air or DRC on the C8 is a step up from the C7
Spec wise, depends what spec you go for. There was stuff i wanted i could only get on the Vorsprung, and when i started adding stuff up on a Carbon or basic spec then the Vorsprung made sense
I think the additional leather pack is worth while (leather dash and door tops), doesn’t cost much but finishes the cabin nicely
I like the heads up as well having had that on a few cars i think id miss it if i didn’t have it. Oh and if you go for rear side airbags then you get illuminated seat belt buckles. Tiny detail but when its dark they are fab!

Definitely better looking on 22 rims, unless you are planning to immediately change them for the lighter weight forged ones.Jimpoole12 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 7:02 pmHi,

Definitely Matrix headlights.
360 Degree cameras.
I did not go for sport diff + rear wheels steering.
For RS6 I would go for panorama, but did not go for it on RS7 because it does not really cover all the roof.
Definitely carbon ceramic breaks.
Top End sound was not worth the price for me.
External carbon - too expensive for me. But definitely at least gloss black package.
Keyless entry.
Head up display
RS exhaust
That's my RS7 spec'ed

Re: Help with options
Hi all, I’m considering an RS6 C8 Dyn+ But in doubt on DRC.
Currently driving A6 C7 Air (3.0 V6 TDI Biturbo competition), and air is fine, but not great on feel.
I want my RS6 to be comfy for family as well, and one thing I find important is if DRC would level the car with a heavy load in the trunk, like fully packed when going on holiday with family.
Any experience on DRC with a heavy load in the trunk? Is the car going really low at the back or little?
THanks
