New C8 RS6 owner / Air Filter

Hi all,

Am a proud owner of a 2020 C8 RS6. Have had lots of performance cars previously but love this more than my wife.

One quick question please, I was thinking of changing the OEM air filter to a K and N but there is so much conflicting info as to whether it is a cone or panel. I looked under the bonnet and for the life of me cannot locate it - so wondered if anyone knew? I cant work it out from online diagrams of the engine!

It’s the big square box as soon as you open bonnet in front of engine it’s got screws all around edge of box

Re the big square box, there isnt one! There is a massive engine with no boxes either side (def no big black square box...

There is a long rectangular plastic box at the front of the engine - having looked at the panel filters in the link above, I am guessing it is all hidden under there.

There is a long rectangular plastic box at the front of the engine - having looked at the panel filters in the link above, I am guessing it is all hidden under there.
