Another B7 RS4 owner...

Post by X555 » Tue May 26, 2020 8:50 pm

Hello all!

Been a member for a little while but never said hello... so here it is :bigwave: :beerchug:

Owned my B7 RS4 just coming up to a year now, love every second of it. Got it at ~68k miles, now on 74k miles.

Already had a few bits done:
1st: Within the first week, resonator replaced with x-pipe and valves bypassed :bigblink:. I'm sure the neighbours love it.
2nd: Fluids. Including Gearbox and Diff oil change. A must for me on anything. "Sealed for life" makes me cringe, even if it's true or makes no difference.
3rd: Front suspension arms. All arms replaced with the Meyle HD kit + full alignment (obvs). Happy with the difference it made.
4th: Brake fluid and braided lines. Went with the HEL kit + Motul RBF660 fluid.

Also took it to a dyno day at Surrey Rolling Road expecting to have my heart broken but still has 385hp. Seems respectable considering its never had a carbon clean, still has the "kick", sound like a good result?

Looking to continue the list working through the car. Walked out to a puddle under the driver-side aux radiator last week so that was an unplanned replacement. I'll be post a bit more now i'm looking to get involved and looking for part numbers. Rear inner wishbone bushes are a nightmare to find P/N for
