Torque split

Post by MarkB » Mon Jan 16, 2006 3:09 pm

Hi

Anyone know the torque split between the front and rear wheels on the S$? Is it the same as on the RS4?

Thanks

Mark

No its a Haldex unit not a torsen one. It directs all the power to the front wheels most of the time but shifts power to the rear wheels as the fronts lose grip. It can direct a fair amount of power to the back but to all intents and purposes its a front wheel drive car most of the time.
